Intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) is the new techonology ofradiotherapy. To achieve precise radiotherapy, the TPS (Therapy Plan System) ofIMRT must be verified in the process of treatment. This paper studies rely on theChinese Ministry of Science and Technology Project "IMRT dose distribution ofreal-time 3D test system". This Paper presents the independent research anddevelopment of TQ-2000B dose distributions measurement and verificationsystem. The TQ-2000B system contains 445 diode detectors arranged in a precise grid,associated circuit and supporting software, which is used in quality control andverification of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy program. From the hardwarestructure of the basic principles, a detailed explanation of software development,testing and performance.With the base software integrated development environment of Visual c++,combine with MFC6.0, OpenGL and Dynamin link library technology, we completethe C++ source code from mathematical model, construct the entire software systemof measurement and analysis. We also accomplish the multi-thread communicationmodule based on DLL, dose contour compute method DLLs, the input and outputDLLs. Color or gray-scale map and 3D graphics algorithms DLL modules. By themeans of using the software, we solute the nonlinear problem in hardware of integralcircuit.A lot of experiments have been done to verify the reproducibility and dose linearperformance, it is used for direct measurement of radiation field which is shaped bymulti-leaf collimator (MLC) movement, and shows the result of 3D-intensity graypicture, and shows the figure of contour of dose distribution after dose calibration. It isCompared with raditional method by dose film. Compared the measured contour mapand dose value to TPS'dose values which is calculated under the same conditions, wecame to the conclusion that TQ-2000B is a real-time verification system of TPS inintensity modulated radiotherapy.The function, performance and main technical specifications of TQ-2000B dose distribution system, reachs the advanced level of similar foreign products. Thedevelopment and application of the entire system will provide a clinical securityassurances in the intensity modulated radiotherapy technology in China.
