In the building structure field, develop new materials to improve structure function simultaneous in developing energetically, carry out combination also in making use of now available engineering material active, the function using structure is more advantageous , cost of construction is that economy , construction are rapid more go to the lavatory more. From that engineering material discipline develops condition coming, brand-new engineering material application returns back at present in probing a stage, have not discovered the trend that other high grade material has to replace steels and the concrete within several tens nearest years, the earlier stage in the twenty-first century , the building structure main body material will still be steel and a concrete as a result. Under such background, the material being quite different with steel and concrete two species functions carries out combination , is that the project boundary improves one of main structure function means at present. RCS composite frame, composed of reinforced concrete column and steel beam, is a newly low cost and highly efficient structure for its economical utilization on the characteristic of steel and reinforced concrete.This paper accomplished the experiment research for the Through Columns joint of reinforced concrete column and steel beam, and on the basis of the experiment data, the joint intensity,rigidity,influence factor and the loaded mechanism of the joint and the restrict capability of the connection plate were analyzed, the main contents concentrate on the following aspects:1. Analyzing the three joint's damage shape,hysteretic curve,change of rigidity,yielding load,limit load,damage load,durability,energy dissipation capacity,the strain of the key position and the moment transferring mechanism.2. Simulating the experiment process using the finite element program, and contrastively analyzing the experiment data and simulating data, confirming the application range of the finite element program in the structure experiment. Further more, it provides a reference for concept design in the practical engineering.3. Introducing the application research condition and basic theory of fiber Bragg grating sensor in civil engineering at present, by comparing the experiment result, analyzing the relation of the wavelength to strain, discussing the feasibility and practicing approach of applying the FBG sensor for civil engineering detection.Finally, providing some unresolved problems on the basis of concluding the whole paper's works.
