The problem of traditional diode or thyristor rectifiers draw harmonic current from the utility line, which pollutes utility system, catch more and more eyes and becom more and more dengerous. For improving the traditional AC/DC converter, increasing the power factor and eliminating the current harmonic, people has brought forward many methods. Power-Factor-correction (PFC) techniques have received more attention in recent year, which can reduce the circuit spoilage, reduce the consumption of energe, increase the power factor and eliminate the current harmonic. So it is very important to us.Now,single-phase PFC technology is applicated in many devices and three-phase PFC rectifiers are preferred and economical for high power application. In this thesis, a three-phase double-switch PFC rectifier is described. At first, we reviewed the high power factor techniques around the world and introduced famous PFC circuits and control methods. Then brought forward the design of three-phase double-switch PFC rectifier and analyed how it work, the principle the PFC and the harmonic current import circuit. The recetifier make use of One-Cycle control method and harmonic current import technolgy to improve the power factor and characteristics of the whole system. Finally used the famous simulation soft OrCAD 9.2 to simulate the system's circuit.Based on the theoretical analyses and simulation research, introduced the method of how to design three-phase double-switch PFC rectifier, given detaily the progress. In conclusion, the correctness and feasibility of this three-phase double-switch PFC rectifier are proved by our theoretical analyses, and simulation results.
