Research Application Of The New Materials In Modern Landscape Studying From High-tech Landscape

In the 1950s, Early High-Tech school focused mostly on technology application and standardization ; in the 1970s, they emphasized industrial techinic, mainly using industrialized steal profil, glass, plastic, metal sheet and tightwire of mass production to display industry succes. In 1990s, late High-Tech school proposes durable developpement concept, to pay attention to tract, to bring importat emation factor into conception, to improve energy using rate, to protect ecological environment, and to creat comfortable environment.With the development of technology, update of the materal, improved processing level and construction technic, many new and High-Tech theories and applications appeared in contemporary landscape designe in foreign countries, modern landscape designers are challenging the traditional landscape concept. with plastic, metal, glass and synthetic fibre, there will be many choices on material application, it's placed on front border of landscape designe. And Material application appears emotion tendence, ecological tendence, and local tendence. Domestic designers have began to use high technology and modern ways to combine domestic concrete environment. However, there are still some gaps on new materials application, the problem is that it lacks scientifical, systematical and abundant knowledge and experience.This thesis is taking the development of modern landscape as point of penetration, discusses the application of the new materials in High-Tech landscape field mainly. The first main part is talk about the development history of High-Tech landscape, which is the foundation of new materials developing; Second part is composed about material which decompose the independent design unit in landscape design, and discuss the meaning and consciousness in creation of materials; Then the third part first discuss the application of new materials in High-Tech landscape, second analyses the successful practices about research material. And then, discuss the development, specific designing and expression of new materials of paving, lighting, water feature and planting respectively; The part of 4th is regular from a series of new material design, discuss the different tendency about new material, and connect the reality of China, the perspective of the future development of High-Tech landscape in China, and should comply with a routine of Chinese characteristic that utilized.
