The Evaluation Of Urban Green Space System Planning

With the process of urbanization,the global ecological environment has been seriously damaged. Urban green space is becoming more and more important in nowadays. However, the space planning systems are often unable to correctly guide the development of green space, lacking of scientific evaluation system. So, it is significant to establish a feasible evaluation system for greenbelt system planning.The thesis accessed to clear concepts, functions and development of green space after inspecting a large number of literature. Then it discussed the classification, indicators, distribution of urban green space, and the significance of comprehensive evaluation system. The paper focused on how to construction a comprehensive evaluation system for urban green space system planning and how to applicate it in Wuxi example. The main content of this thesis was as follows:The first chapter is the foreword .It expounded the background of the issues, reviewed domestic research status, discussed research methods of the thesis and the main content of the study.The second chapter mainly introduced the concepts and theories of green space and urban green space system planning. Firstly it cleared the concepts and functions of green space, reviewed the development process of urban green space .Then it reviewed the classification indicators of urban green space .Finally, it gave out six basic patterns of green space and six typical patterns of urban green system.The third chapter discussed how to construct a comprehensive and assessment system for urban green space planning systems. After analyzing domestic study at home and abroad, the thesis established 17 indicators to its value evaluation grade and constructed integrated evaluation system of urban green space planning systems.The last chapter focused on the case studies. It firstly introduced profile status in Wuxi city, with the development and planning of green space system in Wuxi City. Then from different perspectives,it analysised the urban green space planning system in Wuxi City with the use of a comprehensive evaluation system and finally gived out results and some recommendations.
