Analysis On Issues Of County Green Space System Planning And Building Of Shaanxi

Small towns(county town and township) account for nearly 50% of our country,thus the environmental problems of small town become urgent. The greenbelt system is emerging with the evolvement of country town, such as the change of the industrial structure, the population scale and city scale. So there are a lot of differences between the greenbelt system of small town and metropolis. Present planning system only aims at big city, and does not be suitable for country town.Shaanxi Province lies at the mid-west of China, and is the geographic center of our country. It plays an important role in the economic development strategy of the nation.However, the development of Shaanxi Province lags behind. At the same time, the natural phenology of different regions, generally including Northern Shaanxi, Southern Shaanxi and Central Shaanxi, have strong regionalism. Every region has its particular historical origins and urban characteristics. So our study of the greenbelt system of Shaanxi province has important and special meaning.The author has engaged in planning and designing work for more than ten years,and personally took charge in eleven country town greenbelt system planning projects in Shaanxi province. In the course of the projects, the author encountered many practical problems for the application of present standards into country town greenbelt system. The present greenbelt system planning is not in consistency with the scale of country town. Established standards and basis have lost certain operability and instructive meaning. The author chose five representative country towns scattered allregions of Shaanxi province to study the greenbelt system planning. They are Gan country and Taibai country in Central Shaanxi, Jingbian country and Shenmu country in Northern Shaanxi and Mian country in Southern Shaanxi. After these five case studies,the author has combined planning theory with practical experience to summarize current standards which are incompatible with country greenbelt system planning, furthermore proposed particular planning directions and system requirements for country town greenbelt system.
