With the development of society,people's requirements to comfort in mordern buildings are higher and their environmental consciousness are increased at the same time, so the conventional ventilation ways already can't meet people's needs. Due to the advantages in the aspects of improving the indoor air quality and the energy- energy-saving, underfloor air distribution system(UFAD) is appreciated by researchers and technicians of all nations. Hence, mainly based on the fundamental experiments, this project focuses on the experimental research on the characteristics of UFAD by the way of CFD.This thesis introduced the status quo, existent problems and tasks which still need to be studied in the domestic and international research on UFAD (underfloor air distribution system), expounded the principle and characteristic of UFAD. Compared with the traditional mixed ventilation. Carried out experimental research on conditions of different temperature of cooling wall ,and analyzed the influence of such factors as on distribution of indoor air temperature, heat lamination height, ventilation efficiency,thermal comfort and downflow of cooling wall of UFAD with heat soure in the room.This result has laid the experimental foundation for the numerical simulation.Built up numerical simulation model of UFAD system with single heat and pollutant source, adopted FLUENT software to study the changes of distribution of temperature,velocity and contamination'concentration, heat lamination height , vertical gradient of temperature and intensity and influence scope of the downflow of cooling wall when the temperature of the cooling wall were changed and when the cooling wall was considered or not. Through carries on the contrast confirmation with the experimental testing data,the result is reliable by numerical simulation.
