Improving vehicle's safety to decrease the loss caused by traffic accident as much as possible is an import technology problem of the automobile field today, which is in dire need of solution. With increasing of car owns quantity, on the one hand,it is promoting development of social economy etc,on the other hand, it also brought serious social problem―― traffic accident.More importantly, with superhighway's universality in our country, vehicles run at higher and higher speed, vehicles own bigger and bigger power in crash. for the passengers, they would be subjected to harm that would be far larger than the harm under general crash. In frontal impact, a former passenger is in a lot of protections from many protections devices, but for rear seat passenger, the protection measures used are few. in the face of higher and higer collision speed, if the of protection measures of rear seat passenger were not strengthen, then the passenger of the rear seat is subjected to very serious harm.Because In high-speed car crash, the current normal protection measure can't give effective protection performance to the passenger, this paper give several projects , in order to we can find a best one from them.At first, this paper analysed trauma mechanisms and characteristics of rear seat passenger in high-speed car crash. At the same time, this paper stated injury criteria in front impact and Collide regulations. In order to give a good evaluation to the projects of the passenger restraint system, this paper introduced some injury criteria. This paper developed multi-body whole car models of the several projects with dummy and restraint system by using MADYMO software. After analysing computer simulation results, this paper selectd the best one of the projects. At the end, some computer simulation results were validated by sled test.
