Study on influences from reclamation projects in bays on discharging capacities of rivers to sea is worthy of note in theory and practice of production. Semi-enclosed bays always effects by rivers to sea and tidal dynamic force, under these two factors interaction, hydrodynamic conditions always are extraordinary complex. Commonly to this kind of issue, physics model always is restricted by expense and test site, so this paper carries on study by mathematical model.This paper establishes a 2D hydrodynamic mathematical model using the finite element method based on field measuring data of ShenZhen Bay. And then, it studies and discusses "ShenZhen Bay's changes caused by ShenZhen reclamation projects" , "hydrodynamic condition changed by shoreline change" , "water flow movement condition under different flow rate of ShenZhen river" , "variation of discharging capacities of DaSha River caused by shoreline change" , simultaneously, it also discusses and analyzes reasonability and feasibilities about shoreline planning of this area, design, management and decision making of tide and flood prevention initially.
