Research On Planning And Design Of Urban Color

Color is one of the most significant elements of eyes' world. Itwill be surrounded by color if people's living environment existsnormal vision and appropriate ray. As the most important livingenvironment, city is closely related to people's living anddevelopment. With the accelerating city planning of our country, thehigher requirement of city environment's improvement, the moreattention on city color problems. However, due to the elementarystage of our city color research, from applying the design and layoutof city color, many cities only narrow in building's color researchlacking of researching on the view of whole city.Hence, basing on color, this dissertation gives the conceptionand research field of city color's layout and design, supporting a fullyand deeply color plan of public color visage in city's every inscapefrom macroscopic angle and giving a visual creation to obtain awonderful and harmonious color environment of city.As the important thesis of visual aesthetics, the theory system ofchromatology is extremely large. From color theory of relating citycolor research, this dissertation realizes the layout and design on thetheory researching of visual aesthetics.Following the color design principle of chromatology, city colordesign should be set principle as "contrast harmonious" and "varietyunification" to achieve pleasing, comfortable and harmonious on thecity color. Moreover, the principle of "whole harmonious", "base onhuman being", "local characteristics", "prolong the culture" and"differentiate function", which beautify city environment to protectcity's characteristic through city's layout and design, should beembodied in the new city landscape's layout and design.In terms of researching on city color's layout and design, basing on the practical analysis method and setting ChangSha as an example,this dissertation mainly analyzed the layout and design of color ofconstruction, transportation and outdoor advertisement in citylandscape color elements, then explained changing suggestion andmethods. At the end, a theoretical discussion is put forward to thewhole color layout and design of ChangSha.
