Color Solid-Based Research On Technologies Of Product Color Design

In order to generalize the application of Chinese color system (CCS), the color solid ofChinese color system was taken as the research object. Basing on the theories and methods ofIndustrial Design, original theories of Color Design, the strategy of Product Color Designbased on color solid is proposed.The method of Reducing the dimension of color solid and the technology of colormatching are researched, and a visual color solid of CCS is established to select color freelyon;Dimensional mathematical models are built ,based on which color harmony and theexpansion of color harmony are realized;The comprehensive contrast of color and thejudgment of the visibility of color scheme are researched;Used the fuzzy logic, judgmentmodel of color semantics is established and selecting color by semantic is implemented;ancolor schemes database based on description of intent is constructed , and an mechanism ofselecting color by the description is realized.Based on these approaches and technologies, a prototype computer aided color designsystem is developed .CAXA software is chose as the platform to develop the prototype. Thesystem is validated successfully by the color design of product.
