A Study Of Scenic And Historic Areas Washrooms Design

Washrooms in scenic and historic areas in a way reflect the regional characteristic, cultural characteristic and historical tradition of the beauty spots, which are the necessary service facility. Entering the 21st century, along with the development of society, economy and technology of our country, people's expectation to the washrooms in beauty spots is getting higher and high. However, for a long time, washrooms in traveling areas stay in an ignored and forgetted comer in architectural domain.Washrooms in traveling areas refer to problems such as entering identification, environment protection, healthiness and sanitation, women and children, handicapped and the elderly, and programming, architecture engineering, engineer and technique, sustainable development etc. During the research, combining with my major and actual circumstance, the problems of public washrooms in traveling areas are divided into three levels: origin of the problem at macroscopical level, designing method at middle level and technology route at microcosmic level. Combining with the actuality and existing problems of washrooms in traveling areas of our country, the research is spread from three levels, among which designing method in middle level is the emphases of this thesis.This thesis begins from the actuality of washrooms in traveling areas of our country, mostly taking lots of field survey, getting to know the actuality and analyzing- concluding problems as the basic and breakthrough of the research in this thesis, and spreads the research on three-level problems of washrooms in traveling areas.Macroscopical level--origin of the problem: combining with the circumstance of field survey, referring to the psychological and physiological needs of travelers, sums up the contradictions of washrooms in traveling areas with beauty spots and traveler.Middle level--designing method: beginning from the angle of architecture specialty, discusses on the principle and method of solving contradictions of washrooms with beauty spots and traveler in architectural design of washrooms in traveling areas concretely, in order to guide practical construction.Microcosmic level--technology route: expatiates upon the mechanical technology, architectural technology, updating and rebuilding problems of washrooms in traveling areas for the sake of better development.The thesis probes into the factors that affect the development of washrooms in traveling areas, and brings forward some opinions on the development tendency of washrooms in traveling areas...
