Analysis Of Landscape Character Of Sidewalk Street Of The Mountain City Chongqing

Mountains Urban Pedestrians System is the public corridor in mountain cities,.It is also the frame of the urban environment and characterizes the feature and enerny of the city. The mountains urban pedestrians system which is characteristic of vivid speciality and full of vigor will certainly endow with life to mountains cities. Nevertheless,the movement of beautifying the city which is characteristic of geometric design and aesthetism does that at the sacrifice of the feature of the city. Take ChongQing for instance, although it still remains a sketchy outline of the unique urban landscape in the construction tides, but the vivid character and feature have being disappeared gradually. Thus, the aim of this paper concerned with pedestrian streets in chongqing city and conducted with the theories of landscape plan mainly studys the landscape feature suitable for the pedestrian streets in mountains cities is to recover the streets filled with feature and energy.Chapter 2 first analyzes the characters of the chongqing environment and culture,and then integrates history evolution of the traditional streets in many significant periods(before Ming-Qing dynasties, between Ming-Qing dynasties, as a trading port, found in a city, as the second capital, after liberation and directly under the Central Government).From that we know that they are of major significance to landscape feature formation of the pedestrian streets.Chapter 3 and 4 first make rounded analysis of the inscapes and types of the landscape of pedestrian streets in chongqing,concluding the three inscapes(natural landscape,artificial landscape,cultural landscape) which make up the landscapes of pedestrian streets in chongqing,and four landscape types of pedestrian streets too.Second,there includes in-depth analysis of the two crucial elements——public programs in streets(modern life)and space environment(the common product of natural and artificial environment)of the landscape characters of the pedestrian streets.In addition,there are many examples of study for analysis of the advantages and disadvantages,pointing out merits and faults , dredging up feature and pith.Chapter 5 consists of the analysis of the features which reflected by environment,historical- culture environment,and folk-custom in shaping the pedestrian-street landscape in chongqing city, so as to creat some pedestrian street landscape full of features of chongqing according to these sides.
