Cable, one kind of reinforcement measure, is well accepted in rock and soilengineering practice. But anchorage works as a highly concealed project, its operation period of the safety evaluation of testing technology has not yet been effectively solved. During the construction, the anchor slope instability incidents have occurred. Once anchoring slope destroyed, the economic losses is heavily , the environment and ecological balance also damaged.Statistics of prestressed cable failure modes and failure factors on field investigation and data collection. Experimental research and numerical simulation on some major failure factors of prestressed cable. The principle achievements in the dissertation is as follows:Firstly, experimental resarch on the strand, cement grout and rock for the basic physical and mechanical properties. The mechanical parameters of material are used in numerical simulation and experimental analysis.Secondly, by pull test data of the conventional cable ,some failure effect factor of conventional cable ,such as the cement grout mixture ratio ,anchorage length and rock type were studied. Pull test results show the major failed mode for convention cable bolt and the the major effect factor on bearing capacity for cable bolt.Thirdly, introduction and improve the bulb cable used in bridge structure. The bulb cable anchoring mechanism were studied by pull test data . The results showed the comparision between conventional cable bolt and bulb cable bolt . The effect factors on bearing capacity were studied by pull test , the major failed mode and effect factor can be get from the result..Fourthly, a non-linear finite element analysis method of pull test is proposed by use ANSYS , and the results showed both stress distribution of conventional cable and bulb cable. The effect factors on bearing capacity for cable were studied by pull test , and the analysis for numerial simulation was consistence with pull test result.
