In order to meet the requirements of China's economic development, a lot of high-grade highways and energy bases are established, the deep cut-covering is inescapable, and so it is very important and necessary to ensure the stability and safety of high-steep slope. The prestressed anchorage technique is an advanced technology in the reinforcing slope field, but also the most common, most economical and most effective method. Pressure dispersion-type anchorage cable is an newly developed prestressed anchor cable, and it has great use value, significant advantages and wide application prospect. So analysis of the stress characteristics of pressure dispersion-type anchorage cable and its application in slope reinforcement has important significance. This paper is based on the slop support protection project of Er-Guang expressway, and taking the pressure dispersion-type anchorage cable used in practical engineering as the research object, by theoretical review and numerical simulation method, combined with the analysis of project practice, a series of researches are carried out, and obtained some conclusions which have referential significance.Firstly, the theoretical formulas of the stress distributions for anchored section on pressure dispersion-type anchorage cable are studied on the basis of literatures published in home and abroad; but that can not reflect overall the stress distributions, because those theoretical formulas were established above some assumptions. So under the same condition, and combined with the simulation result, the shear stress distribution of anchored section on the compression-dispersion type is evaluated comprehensively.Secondly, based on the introduction of ABAQUS finite element software and theoretical study, and used the joint element to simulate the interface between injecting cement paste and surrounding rock, the pressure dispersion-type anchorage cable is simulated. The stress and deformation distribution characteristics of surrounding rock, injecting cement paste and interface are analyzed. Many results show that bearing plates interacted with each other, and therefore, the stress and deformation of anchor system are strengthened or weakened. Otherwise, considering the complexity of pressure dispersion-type anchorage cable and the diversity of influence factors, the influence degree of loading conditions, elastic modulus of surrounding rocks and injecting cement paste to the stress distributions for anchored section on pressure dispersion-type anchorage cable was analyzed by used the single factor analytic approach, thereby learning the main influence factors, these results have reference value for the design of pressure dispersion-type anchorage cable. Finally, applied ABAQUS finite element software, some numerical simulation tests under two different conditions have been done, one condition is slop excavation retained with anchor cables, the other is not. Compared with monitoring data, the analysis and qualitative evaluation on the reinforcement effect of anchor system are carried out in the view of the displacement, stresses and stability of slop, it also demonstrates that the anchor system is necessity and effectiveness to assure the construction safety during slope excavation and long-term stability of slop.
