| Pregnancy-induced hypertension, PIH, occur in a pregnancy after 20 weeks of hypertension,proteinuria, and edema characterized by multiple organ dysfunction. In China, PIH incidence rateis 9.4%. This is the cause of maternal and perinatal death of one of the major reasons.The PIH Forecasting and Detecting System through the micro-pressure sensor acquires leftradial artery pressure signal noninvasively. By analyzing its waveform, the system gets humanvascular of physiological and pathological conditions. The PIH system not only can diagnose thecondition, but also achieve the forecasts and tracks of PIH development.The system comprises hardware and software module. Hardware module uses piezoelectricsensors, amplification circuit, filtering circuit, and Aï¼D converter circuit. Hardware moduletechnical difficulties: it needs effectively to magnify weak signal to meet the requirement of theAï¼D conversion, also needs to filter baseline drift and noise signal. Software modules includeswaveform display and analysis module, PIH treatment and monitoring module, Small auxiliaryexpert system, File processing and archiving module, and Setup module, etc. Software moduletechnical difficulties: it needs analyse waveform data accurately. The software should befriendly interface, simple, patient-friendly and reliable handling!The PIH Forecasting and Detecting System focus four functions. First, the software can getwavedata accurately. Second, the software can accurately access to all para- meters. Third,software can establish PIH treatment and monitoring system, which is able to demonstrateseveral important parameters in monitoring the trend of PIH and track the progression of thedisease. Forth, software can establish PIH small auxiliary expert system, which includesidentification of the symptoms, and offers the conventional approach to treatment andmedication guide.The system passed the overall test. Hardware and software were conducted separate tests.These test results show that the system is expected to achieve the design requirements. |
