With the purpose of improving the security of Carrier Landing System, this dissertation designs the Improved Carrier Optical Landing System (ICOLS), develops a demonstrate system of the Instrument Landing System (ILS), and studies flight control technology of explicit model-following for carrier-based helicopter.Firstly, we study and develop ICOLS in order to improve the operation reliability of manual carrier landing system, with the purpose of landing security when the landing environment is poor. The simulation configuration allocation for longitude and lateral system are studied. Also guidance and control system are designed and the availability of the system is validated through simulation.Secondly, for joining with the manual landing system, the continuous system of ILS is discredited, and a real-time simulation system is established. Then a demonstrate system of the Instrument Landing System (ILS) based on manual control is developed.Finally, in order to improve the landing performance and manipulation quality of carrier-based helicopter, this dissertation researches the flight control system of explicit model-following for carrier-based helicopter, and provides the strategy of designing this fly-by-wire system through control distribution matrix decouples only, achieving the design of control law.This dissertation contributes to the application reference value for carrier-based aircraft landing system.
