The flying wing, which is an advanced aero configuration, will be the direction of aircraft design in the future. Because of its unconventional configuration, the flying wing brings us many merits such as high aerodynamic efficiency, low resistance and far voyage. It is also very difficult to find this aero configuration by radar. But flying wing has several demerits at the same time, such that the lateral stability is not so good compared with natural planes, the aerodynamic efficiency of rudder is too low, and it is easily disturbed by the crosswind, especially in the landing phase, which always causes the plane to leave its flight course, difficult to control, and so on. In order to overcome those problems, some new control methods are presented in this paper, on the basis of analyze on flying wing and modeling, simulation and comparison along different methods are also given by detail, the designing of control systems can be find in this paper too.The flying wing unmanned aerial vehicle in typical state is modeling in mathematics at first. According to contrasting between the flying wing and natural plane, some control systems which is order to add the lateral stability of flying wing are designed.Secondly, by describing the five phases of the aircraft's automatic landing, some control intentions and control methods are put forward. By analyze on the several characteristics of longitudinal active, exact trajectory tacking control system of the flying wing aircraft's automatic landing is designed.Thirdly, the aircraft's flying under complex atmospheric conditions and the influence which caused by crosswind in the automatic landing are discussed in this paper. By the lateral characteristics of the flying wing and the model of aircraft in crosswind, three counteracting crosswind control systems are designed, whose advantages and disadvantages are also obtained in this article. Problems about the emendation of track and direction are resolved at the same time.At last, the mathematic model for a flying wing unmanned aerial vehicle with three wheels in ground motion is established and several control methods are brought forward.The simulation results verify the good performance of above design.
