As one of the branches of the ecology programming method, the original ecology's aim is to repair the"scab"of modern city landscape by recovering the primitive environment of the ground. Compare with the old city landscape which designs without original ecology, the new city landscape will be more natural, ecological, it's maintenance cost will be much lower, and the relationship between nature and human will be better.At the same time, as a way to improve city environment, the original ecology also have its special method of application and localizations. Therefore, while using original ecology to design modern city landscape, it is necessary to know its different applications toward different kind of landscape element. Furthermore, it is essential that the emergence and development of city is the sign of civilized advance, so we can't emphasize"back to the nature"persistently but neglected some environment breakages caused by the city development are unavoidable, any kinds of city landscape problem solution must regard this as premise. Therefore, for different type city landscape, original ecology also have to be different. The designer should classify ground then use original ecology intentional.
