In order to further research the movement rule of crank link mechanism in the diesel engine, the output torque of crankshaft under the gas force action in the cylinder during the work process and so on, the 4102B diesel engine in Chao Yang Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. is taken as an example in this article. It has carried on theoretical analysis and simulation analysis in computer in kinematics and dynamics to the crank link mechanism in the diesel engine with four cylinders.First, motion laws as well as stress in movement about the crank link mechanism are analyzed in detail and the precise analysis results are obtained. Second, applying three-dimensional CAD software Pro/Engineer establish the geometry models of various parts in the 4102B diesel engine. Then using the Pro/E software assembling function assembles the components of crank link into the piston module, the connecting rod module and the crank module. Then using Pro/E software mechanism analysis module (Pro/Mechanism), establishes the multi-rigid dynamics model of the crank link, and carries on the kinematics analysis and the dynamics analysis simulation.This project takes application as a goal and faces to the enterprise actual product. And it mainly studies the piston and connecting rod movement rule as well as crank link motion gear movement envelopment. This research does not consider the outside force and makes the crank to maintain the uniform speed rotation. In the dynamic analysis simulation process, the project has mainly studied the changing rules of the crank output torque under the gas force function.The researching results indicate that all simulating results and the theoretic results tally well. The theoretical analysis takes the theoretical formula as the basis, so it can obtain the quite precise analysis result. But the analysis process is more difficult than the simulation analysis and not as intuitive as the simulation analysis. Through carrying on the kinematics analysis and the dynamics analysis about the machine by constructing the three-dimensional model, the state of the motion can be really intuitively reflected. The analysis results not only can be showed by the coordinates chart, but also can be outputted by form. It will provide the reference for the following theoretical calculation and the next type synthesis and optimized design. The method of this project greatly reduces the cost of the prototypical manufacture and the experiments, and shortens the development cycle. Meanwhile it has provided the powerful safeguard for the product to go into the market fast.
