Crank and connecting rod mechanism is the main part of the internal-combustion engine. The forces acting on the crank and connecting rod mechanism include inertia force produced by moving components mass and cylinder pressure on the piston which varies with crank -angle. Variation of the forces on the crank and connecting rod mechanism become more and more complicated with changing operating condition especially used as vehicle engine. It is important to research the crank and connecting rod mechanism and develop the design system of it.This paper studies three kind of common crank and connecting rod mechanism in the internal-combustion engine , analyzes variation of the forces and torques acting on the crank and connecting rod mechanism with changes of operating condition of engine, establishes the kinematics model and dynamics model, develops analysis system of crank and connecting rod mechanism based on visual basic . The system performs the kinematics and dynamics analysis of the crank and connecting rod mechanism under different operating conditions and in different crank -angle, and represents the results with visualization 1 methods.The research of this paper put forward important theoretical basis for checking and designing the forced components of the internal-combustion engines.
