As a kind of important nonstructttral component in high-rise building, the failureof the gas pipeline would bring gas leakage to park the fire during the accidentalearthquake. And such fires often could not be put out promptly because the firefacilities in building have been destroyed or the limited capacity of outsider firefacilities.Such fires will give enormous losses to lives and property in building. It'snecessary to study the dynamic performance of the pipeline in building during anaccidental earthquake, and it's great significance to take certain measures to try toavoid the fire which is triggered by building gas system in high-rise building duringan accidental earthquake. The paper begins with the establishment of dynamic analysis model of the gaspipeline in high-rise building. The model simplifies the seismic analysis of the hugeand complex indoor gas pipeline system for the seismic analysis of the keycomponent of the system: standpipe, which is supported by bearings used in variousforms between floors. According the simplification, the seismic analysis model of thegas pipeline in high-rise building is established. Then the paper deduces unit massmatrix of the pipeline, the stiffness matrix wihich consider the geometric non-linearand material non-linear and damping matrix. According to the study about thepractical application of dynamic balance equations of multi-supported excitation, thedynamic analysis equation of the pipeline is presented in the paper. And the externalexcitation in the equation depends on the floor response to the earthquake. In order to gain the earthquake response of the floor, the paper launchselasto-plastic analysis against three high-rise buildings of three structural formsduring accidental strong earthquake. Against the elasto-plastic analysis of the framestructure,short-pier shear wall structure and frame-shear wall structure, this paperuses famous finite element nonlinear Idarc-2D program.By studying the seismic performance of the gas pipeline in the three high-risebuildings trader accidental earthquakes with different seismic intensities, the weakpart and the failure mode of the pipeline are provided, meanwhile, the sensitivefactors which impact the seismic performance are presented in the paper. All theresults can provide a basis for the establishment of effective seismic design methodand corresponding seismic measures of the gas pipeline in high-rise building. In response to these seismic sensitive factors to the gas pipeline, the original researchabout the establishmentof the earthquake emergency system of the gas supply systemsin high-rise buildings is analyzed in the end of the paper.
