Developing public platform of online calculation and river digital Simulation System about river mathematical model is very important to the development of controlling flood-engineering science. The paper adopt the innovation of combination with the visualization and pre- and post-processing techniques, computer network technology, mixed using of JavaScript programming language and PHP script technology, the online calculation of flood evolution simulation is realized successfully.This paper is classified into six chapters.In chapter 1, outline and background about the research is presented; the character and the progress of sediment numerical models, applications on visualization and online calculation in domestic and overseas are introduced. In the last the major contents and routes of the paper are stated.In chapter 2, establishment of a one-dimensional sediment mathematical model is introduced Integrality: from the basic equations and the dispersion of numerical method, the key issue, then the numerical model testing, and the process of verification.In chapter 3, online calculation methods about the mathematical model are stated detailed, including some key issues involved: dynamic data access technology, JavaScript scripting access technology, static and dynamic web interfaces.In chapter 4, pre- and post-processing are introduced, including dynamic flow technology and the 3D terrain roaming technology.In chapter 5, an example is showed, as described in the paper. Finally, Chapter 6 sums up the whole paper and prospects further research work in the future.
