The research on high liquid limit soil in the world are usually based on two aspects,one is about realize of high liquid limit soil itself's phiscl and mechanics character and the engineering property , on the other hand is treatments and applications of high liquid limit soil reasonable. Because of its special physical-mechanical properties and the engineering characteristic, if applicable to filled road embankment directly, a series of diseases will be came into such as subgrade fill hard to compacting, frost boiling, collapse of side slope and so on. So, developing research on the filling technology for high liquid limit soil subgrade systematically would be important meaning to highway construction.In this paper, aim at unfavorable geological conditions and physical-mechanical properties of the high liquid limit soil, systematic study on the formation mechanism and characteristics of high liquid limit soil. On the basis of high liquid limit soil distribution features alone YangMao highway,through laboratory experiment analysis of soil improved by CON-AID stabilizing agent and NSC soil solidified agent and EN-1 soil solidified agent respectively, and contrast with the traditional lime-stabilized soil.The construction technology of mix with CON-AID stabilizing agent improvement programme, sand improvement programme and fill excavation test section subgrade are sumed up through experimental investigation of subgrade test section.Furthermore, this dissertation ananlyze the technical and economic of each scheme, it come to a conclusion that on the condition of not increase cost field-mix method mixed with CON-AID stabilizing agent can raise the construction quality and shorten the schedule consumedly. Finally, it observes the subgrade test section technique parameters such as water content,degree of saturation,strength,liquid-plastic limit,dry densityd and settling volume.With these observational datas from this tests, it sums up a law that these parameters vary with time after-construction for the high liquid limit soil embankment.According to the law, it overally evaluate the long-time performance,which about treatment method of the high liquid limit soil and subgrade filling technology, put forward the best construction craft and viable construction quantity control standard of filling the high liquid limit soil subgrade.
