In pile-net composite foundation, pile,net and soil are working together to undertake theload. It has many functions such as pile,bedding cushion,abstraction of water,reinforcementand protection. The deformation of pile-net composite foundation is little and the residualsettlement is easy to be controlled. It can reduce the fabrication cost and the number of thepiles. Pile-net composite foundation is appropriate to be used in building the railway,highway,city-road,levee etc., so the foreground is extensive.Firstly, an introduction is given for every constituent of the pile-net compositefoundation and some conceptions of the composite foundation to supply the theoryforeshadowing about the calculation parameter of the article. In pile-net compositefoundation, CFG pile,cement-soil mixed pile,Geo-fabric and geogrid are used frequently,so their feature and performance are represented in the article. In addition, bedding cushion isexplained in the article.Secondly, ABAQUS finite element software is used to calculate. ABAQUS is one of themost advanced large-scale software internationally and is used comprehensively inengineering. 4 models are established in this article which explain 4 problems. The modelsinclude the influence to settlement about adding net and lever number, the establishment ofrare-pile theory, the influence to settlement of Young's modulus about the pile and soil. Byanalysing and calculating, we can get the conclusions: wet can reduce settlement obviously;rare-pile theory is true; the influence to the settlement of the pile modulus is secondary but thesiol is obvious.Finally, the deducement of the calculation method and calculation equation is given forthe pile-net composite foundation. Some methods about calculating settlement are representedfirstly, then through different models, the article deduces three equations which can be used tocalculate the residual settlement. At last, some related examples are used to prove theequations. Through proving, the equations are appropriate. In addition, Composite modulus isanalysed in this article.Settlement calculation is very important in pile-net composite foundation because it isrelated to the project fabrication cost and project quality intimately. Pile-net composite foundation can satisfy requirement of undertaking load and settlement through adjusting therigidity of the vertical reinforced material,the intensity of the horizontal reinforced material,replacement ratio of the composite foundation etc., so it has unique ascendancy. But thetheory research about pile-net composite foundation is in starting stage and it is behind thedevelopment of the project experience. So enhancing the theory research about pile-netcomposite foundation is important. Because of this, pile-net composite foundation has a veryextensive development space.
