In recent years, the staggered floor structure is used more and more widely. At present, researches of staggered floor structure have been paid close attention by academic and engineering circles, therefore it is necessary to research staggered floor frame structure deeply. This paper analyses the effects of several kinds staggered floor with finite element software ANSYS, in order to play an active role in the staggered floor development.Firstly modal analysis and seismic response spectrum analysis of two different structure forms, lateral staggered floor structure and longitudinal staggered floor structure, are carried out with standards frame, in order to analyze the effects of different types and different storey height. Further the same methods are used to study on unequal-span lateral staggered floor. This paper discusses the regulation of shear and shear relative ratio in detail.Secondly, simplified method of equal span lateral staggered floor is performed. Computation of seismic force could use base shear method with earthquake influence coefficient, when seismic design meets the demands, in order to get exact seismic force under torsion effect. Finally, this paper analyzes the response of lateral staggered floor shear wall structures which are possessed of different storey height, through elastic dynamic time-history analysis. By comparison, some conclusions of displace time-history curves, shear time- history curves and stress time-history curves are given for the staggered floor shear wall structure.
