Pumps used in nuclear power station are important parts of nuclear power engineering equipment. The biggest difference between pumps of nuclear and thermoelectricity station is the strict requirements of reliability and security. Due to the hazards of nuclear fuel, it is very important to ensure the normal operation in normal circumstances and emergency situation.Low pressure fuel pump is an important part of diesel engine auxiliary system. The horizontal low-pressure fuel pump gear pump is driven by a synchronous motor. Pump and motor shaft are connected directly. Gear pumps and motors are installed on the pedestal. When nuclear power station is subjected to outside interference, the main pump is ensured to work for three minutes by its own inertia. And the emergency system needs to work immediately to ensure uninterrupted work. Therefore, it is very necessary to analyze the pedestal in the emergency situation (such as earthquake). The topic is about the aseismatic analysis of pedestal about low pressure fuel pump. Based on the load characteristics of the earthquake, pedestal will be simplified single-degree-of-freedom model by Mechanical Dynamics. Due to impact of horizontal direction of the earthquake is more than vertical, the main object of this paper consider the impact of the transverse wave. ANSYS can do the exactly displacement vector and stress analysis of the pedestal in the emergency situation. The works being finished in this thesis are as follows:(1) The solid models of bump body and pedestal are established and assembled by three-dimensional modeling software PRO/E;(2) The displacement vector, work stress and their distribution under the seismic wave in different grades (peak) are analyzed, and the design is tallied with aseismatic performance request;(3) According to the results of the original pump unit, the original sizes of pedestal are improved, the improved pedestals in different grades (peak) are analyzed, and the displacement vector and stress in different level of seismic are is tallied with aseismatic performance request;(4) By analyzing the results, it is effective to reduce highness dimension of pedestal.
