This thesis was supported by key science and technology tackle key problem subject of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region"The study on mechanism of water translation and decision-making of water resources management of the typical ecosystem in cold and arid area",including five typical ecosystems:①Cold mountain region—Huolinguoluo②Low mountain and hilly region—Taipusi Banner③Hilly-desert-plain coupling region—Dalate Banner④Mountain-hilly-plain-desert coupling region—Zhalute Banner⑤Plain region-Xiliaohe river plain(Horqin sandy land).Based on consulting documents,this thesis summarized the present situation of water resources assessment at home and abroad,pointed out its imperfect at present,discussed in detail the principle,content,theory and method of water resources assessment,acquired abundant and detailed data through field experiment and survey;combined water conservancy science,ecology and natural geography,introduced PTF functions and geostatistics to water conservancy science domain,the method can be conveniently applied to practice.The thesis combined characteristics of water resources in the arid area,applied advanced technology of water resources,science evaluated surface water,ground water and their conversion resource.Finally,the thesis summarized technology and method of water resources assessment in arid area through examples and testified the method that was reasonable and reliable.The thesis not only had guidance significance to sustainable and harmonious development of social economy,ecological environment protection and water resources utilization,but also provided theoretical foundation and technological support for water resources systemic utilization,analysis assessment and synthetical management in same district,and filled and perfected water resources assessment theory in arid area.
