There are several central tasks about high carbon line during the blowy cooling in this discourse. All of this include researching the relation of microstructure and performance, simulating the temperature field, calculating the microstructure field and transformation of the microstructure, and so on, and also making program to predict the optimization technics parameters or the performance of the high carbon line. In this discourse, the author analyzes the temperature field with Finite Element Method, and gains the temperature field of the high carbon line by finite element software ANSYS. Then, the cold line and the Continuous Cooling Transformation line are combined, and the corresponding microstructure field is got, at this base, the mechanistic performance is forecasted.In the discourse, the Finite Element Method is used when calculating the temperature field. Until now, Finite Element Method is the most practical numerical analysis means, and its application is broad in the engineering field. Basing on the Finite Element Method, computer simulation technology is not only provided with powerful calculating function, but also can settle the coupling problem of multifarious physical field, including stress field, phase transformation field, temperature field, and so on. The temperature field of high carbon line is calculated by finite element software ANSYS. The author makes macro program by the interior language of ANSYS, and calculates the temperature field of the high carbon line with this macro program.When simulating the microstructure field of high carbon line, the academic foundation is the solid state phase transformation dynamics. It is mainly about the relation of the transformation quantity, the transformation temperature and the transformation time during the solid state phase transformation. Basing on the solid state phase transformation dynamics, and according to the temperature field and the Continuous Cooling Transformation line, the microstructure field of high carbon line is calculated by VB program. The numerical value simulation of the microstructure field is realized, and also, several primary mechanical capabilities are forecasted.ANSYS is exploited quadratic in this discourse, and it is linked with VB, thus, the whole process can be run automatically in the interface of VB application program. During the designing, the author consider the practicability and veracity of the software adequately. So, the whole running process is legible and ordinal, and the interface of the program is friendly and the operation is simple. There are two functions in this software: the first one is simulating the microstructure and performance of the high carbon line in the existing technical condition, the second one is providing the best technical condition by simulation and optimization.
