With the rapid development of civil engineering in China., more and more bridges are to be built over rivers and seas. Among them, cable suspension bridge is widely used for its widest spanning structure. In order to reach the ideal bridge formation, monitoring and supervision in the course of construction is indispensable.This paper is a research on the calculation theories and methods of cable suspension bridge construction control. It focuses on the sensitivity analysis of two design parameters - elastic modulus of main cable and dead weig;ht of bridge slab, which are key factors to the suspended structure. Least square method is employed in the estimation of those two parameters. As a result, respective assessed values of the No.2 Wanzhou Yangtse River Bridge are obtained and are used in the construction control and forecasting of the bridge. In a word, this paper is not only a direct guidance to the construction control of the No. 2 Wanse zhou Yangtse River Bridge but also a valuable reference for design and construction of cable suspension bridges in the future.
