The cascade with boil-vortex is a familiar cascade ,some of which obstruct seriously navigation and can cause sea damage. It is important for regulating the cascade with boil-vortex flow that the conditions of producing boil-vortex flow and mostly factors of effecting its intensity are made clear.Base on analysing the situation about studying boil-vortex flow throughout the world ,it is found that the research of boil-vortex flow is in original stage. The research method is mainly theoretic analysis and physical model experiment, which obstacles us to know about the cause and essence of boil-vortex flow .But the numerical simulation method studying turbulent flow is not used in boil-vortex field yet.In this paper,3-D numerical simulation for boil-vortex flow is studied with k-e model. A partial cell parameter to treat irregular boundary and VOF method for free surface are adopted. The computational example shows that results computed coincide with data measured very well.
