On the basis of analysing the cause of disease of old two-way curved arch bridge and mechanical behaviours, proposes a comprehensive reinforcement method—to chang the spandrel construction and strengthen arch ring partly . This method has been successfully used in the reinforcement project of the Daninghe bridge in the county of Wuxi, Chongqing ,which has been proved economical.The key work of the thesis is as following:1,Based on a large number of relevant literature, several kinds of common disease's forms of the large-span two-way curved arch bridge has been summarized .The knowledge about the finite element method has been used to analysis the disease.2,The method of establishing modle using the three-dimensional slab and girder element is discussed.3,The disease's characters of the large-span two-way curved arch bridge are discussed. According to the investigation about the damage, the finite element model of Daninghe bridge with damages is built.4,Utilizing the Daninghe bridge model with damages, the mechanical behaviours are calculated and analysed, the influences of the two-way curved arch bridge which has been damaged are discussed. Its structual characteres and bearing ability are evaluated.4,On the basis of synthesizedding the pluses and minuses of present used method of bridge strengthen, three kinds of reinforcement scheme, calculate,analysis are put forwarded.
