With the rapid development of society and improvement of people's livingconditions, automobile and its related industries have been playing an important partin the domestic economy. Meanwhile, the arrival of the information age makes peoplepay more attentions on the real-time communication of information and the drivingsafety, as well as the driving convenience and comfort. The dispersion oftransportation information and the existence of traffic jams have greatly restricted theimprovement of efficiency of the whole transportation system. All these are thecontext for the development of Vehicle terminal system, of which the function hasbeen enriched by the development of vehicle electronic technology. A multi-functional vehicle terminal system is introduced in this paper to solve some problemsoccurs when driving. It consists of a module of hand-free phone/remote data accessbased on GPRS, GPS based navigation module and a wireless charger.Hand-free phone is based on Simense GSM/GPRS module MC35i, andhardware and AT command based software are designed which makes it much saferto call while driving and the real-time access to the Internet on the vehicle turns into areality due to the GPRS based remote data access function.Navigation module is based on GPS module JP13 and eSupermap GIS platform.The software which will run on the Windows CE.Net platform has the followingfunctions: EMap showing and operations, routes optimization, GPS positioninginformation's obtaining and showing, real and simulated navigation, etc. All thesewill greatly improve the driving efficiency.The wireless charger is based on the electromagnetic and a series resonancecircuit is added to make the load charged without physical connection. RFID moduleis used to detect the existence of the load to reduce the no-load loss. The supplier willstart to charge the load only when the load is in the powering area. Systematicefficiency has been improved.The Hand-free phone module has passed the tests of vibration, temperature and EMC. All other parts work well and expectations are well met. This vehicle terminalsuccessfully solves several issues of driving, by which the safety is greatly enhancedand the efficiency is improved. It has a widely using value.
