With the development of highways and the improvement of car's performance, car's speed is faster and faster. In addition, with the increasing car capacity, traffic jam and accidents happened frequently. The safety of cars is becoming more important. Airbag as a safety device is applied to all sorts of vehicle. At the same time, airbag is developing a new high-tech industry. The research and development on airbag has a great significance on China's modern auto industry. China's airbag industry is in a good momentum of development. But comparing with world advanced level, it has a long way to go. The gaps with world include airbag regulations, crash test, airbag design, manufacture, testing, and so on. In testing, sensors, airbag gas generator and technical specifications and testing had not yet reached a satisfactory state. We have not a comprehensive airbag performance test system in domestic. The airbag produced in our country have to be testing in abroad. Because of high cost of testing, the market's competitiveness in airbag is weakened. With the rapid development of China's automobile industry, some large companies were preparing to set up large-scale production lines airbags. Therefore, to design a airbag performance testing system for China's auto industry is of great significance.Explosion vessel dynamics is defined as explosive shockwave research, mutual function between explosive products with the explosion vessel structure, as well as from this the shell structure stress strained condition which causes, and further determined its working ability, the working strength, the possible destruction pattern and the destruction damage probability under assigned load. It provides constructive guide for engineering development. Considered shell structure distortion have minimum influence to the vessel interior flow field ( less than 1%) (Adischev,1,979; Demchuk,1,971). The explosion vessel dynamics research generally may divide into three aspects, namely,1. Determine explosion load on structure elements of the vessel, the vessel vall can be rigid approximate processing.2. Determine the stress of the vessel shell and other structure elements under above-mentioned load. Propose the corresponding intensity criterion, and find the safety coefficient according to concrete structure.3. Designed by myself, manufactured by assigned factory manufacture a set of test device including sufficient a air pump with a volume28.32 litre, a support, foundation, air pump release gear. The tube (above foundation has amine fat with certain thickness )drop with high speed to simulate the automobile collision, thus testing operating performance of the inflator in the tube.This test system is multi-parameters synchronization test system, which can test simultaneously pressure, acceleration and so on. At present it can test 3 parameters simultaneously. Using a air pump with a volume 28.32L, under pressure to meet conditions of maximum pressure, free dropping along with the slide to ignite air inflator. Collect and process related data through responding sensors and signals to test products. Following is the test steps:1. Check the reliability of connecting devices (such as the nut tightening, the slide of lubrication, PU display, sensor installation and wiring connections, etc.).2. After installation inspection, debug data acquisition software: choose acquisition channel, set up collection and storage parameters, prepare the acquisition system. Parameters record is ready.3. Turn on the power, raise inflatable tube (record height) and then released. Observe and record experimental results, then finish the experimental data storage. No matter how experimental results (non-explosion or explosion), each experiment device must be checked carefully after finishing test, and then start the next experiment. For each experiment must have detailed experimental records (experiment problems, experimental phenomena and experimental results).The system can test acceleration, inflatable cylinder pressure, curve between inflator inter pressure and time. It can display and print 14 parameters instantly, such as the maximum pressure on the system, 20% and 95% maximum, 5 ms slope values, pressure values at 20ms,35ms and 55ms, inflator internal pressure, and so on.Jin Heng Automobile Safety System Inc is the major producer of vehicle airbags, which is the largest safety airbag production base in China. The core components of their products is safety airbag inflator, currently using products manufacutured by Shanxi Jin Heng Limited which production line imported from abroad. Since the successful development of test systems, has provided product quality monitoring for Shanxi Jin Heng's Limited.Total of 12 batches products are inspected. It provided the quality assurance for its production and sale. The resulting economic benefits estimated more than 50 million yuan.
