The Application Research Of Information Security Strategy In Electric Power Information System

The dispatch and operation, production and marketing as well as daily management of modern power system have been more and more relied on various computer information systems. At present, power information system carries nearly all the operation and management information of power enterprises. And the security of power information system has directly impacted the safe and reliable operation of power system. With the wide use of power information system in LAN and WAN, the deterioration of information security has highlighted and demanded research on security of power information system in the field of power information. As information is an essential resource in digital power system, the primary task to be solved in modern power system is to ensure the security of power information.China has already made efforts to improve information security in power industry. Necessary security and protection measures have been adopted in most power enterprises, such as identity authentication, firewall, anti-virus system and intrusion detection system. However, generally speaking, the majority of them belong to spot and local protection, which falls short on high-level protection.Aiming to solve the security problem of power information system, this paper displays the basic structure of security and protection of power information system with the features of power system into consideration on the basis of general concepts and principles of information security. Huanglongtang Hydropower Plant is analyzed and designed as a case study on its MIS system from the following aspects: the formation of MIS system for hydropower plant, network design, user's identity management, as well as the operation of firewall and intrusion inspection and thus, the technical program of information security for MIS system in power system is put forward based on application analysis, study and realization.
