An comprehensive analysis of the domestic and foreign research and application status of the Cooling Tower-Ground source heat pump (CHSHP) is presented in this dissertation. According to the characteristic of these constructions that the cooling load is higher than the heating load, it indicates the importance and feasibility of using CHSHP in those places, and has a discussion about the design and operation control of this system.In illustration of a office building with the CHSHP system in WuHan, it calculates the annual dynamic load by using the software of DeST first, and with the loads that was calculated before, the choice of the types of these equipments is made by using the known design methods and the design method presented in this article. In addition, some modifications are made to the known control strategies of the CHSHP system. The loads of the office building are calculated using the planar Bin, and a method to calculate the exiting temperature of the ground pipe for the planar Bin is advanced. According to the combination of the choice methods and the control strategies of CHSHP, it gives several viable projects. By analog calculation to some cases of CHSHP with different types in the planar Bin, the type which is designed by the new method is commended to be more advantaged in reducing the energy of heat pump system, and better for the recovery of the temperature of the ground around these boreholes. Finally it takes a simulation of long time operation of the new project by Energy Plus, for the analysis of ground pipe exiting fluid temperature hour by hour, it followed that this project is beneficial to the balance of the temperature of the ground around these boreholes.
