Electromagnetic active vibration absorber technology is one of the most important parts in active vibration control field. Based on the automobile vibration, the paper studies the application of Electromagnetic active vibration absorber technology on automobile vibration control. It mainly includes the following:Theoretically, it analyses the mathematical model and working principle of the dynamic vibration absorber. The performance characteristics and rules of the dynamic vibration absorber are revealed.The Electromagnetic active vibration absorber was designed and developed. The structure and working principle of the absorber was introduced. ANSOFT software was used for describing the magnetic flux distribution, magnnetic field strength distribution, the magnitude of magnetic force under 2.5mm offset and different current excited. The characteristic experiment was performed for the controller design of the absorber.The semi-active vibration absorber test stand was built in terms of the double insulated test stand. The control effect of Electromagnetic semi-active vibration absorber on the vibration of automotive engine was simulated and tested. The results show the natural frequency of the absorber changes with current excited. It is easy to adjust the vibration absorber frequency and to track automatically the vibration frequency of automotive engine. The vibration of mechanical equipments with varying frequency and periodic vibration, including automotive engine, can been controlled effectively.The semi-active vibration absorber test stand of automotive frame was built. The control effect of Electromagnetic semi-active vibration absorber on the vibration of the automotive frame was simulated and tested. The results show the active control of Electromagnetic semi-active vibration absorber on the vibration of the automotive frame is effective.
