Retaining wall is a structure in highway engineering which is used to resist lateral soil pressure and preventing side slope or road foundation body dilapidation whereas setup by the roadside .In company with our country national economy level advance and capital construction progressive development, as well as branch structuring technique level advance and decrease environmental destruction, optimal land utilization ideal strengthen, retaining wall in engineering use more and more broadly, especially in the railway, highway sub grade and erection foundation engineering occupy specific gravity also more and more large. The opposite - pull upright retaining wall is a sort of new style retaining wall structure in recent years. The opposite-pull upright retaining wall is base on the design philosophy of the anchor plate and the reinforced earth retaining wall which composed of wallboard,tension link and foundation and possess to diverse geologic settings hardiness, standing fewness, antiknock virtue best, cost cheap, tenacity particularly for extrude and more merits. It suitable for the place where the topography is limited and need to build retaining wall both side ,such as municipal road,approach embankment highway intercommunication overpast ramp,railway and highway which traverses fertile land . As a sort of new style reinforced earth retaining wall structure,it is different from the general reinforced earth retaining wall in the aspect of structure and stress feature,there are also larger dispute for the back of wall soil pressure,the filling to the secondary stress of tension link. The new style of retaining wall structure now still get off to experiment fumble stage,the engineering example nor much, design clue nor unify,our country active design specifications also not yet refer to the structural detailed design method. So the correlation problem research on the new style structural of retaining wall still need further step unfolding.This article is base on the research findings present, to study the structure and stress feature of the opposite - pull upright retaining wall, at the same time in terms of one opposite - pull upright retaining wall engineering of one level highway, apply large-scale finite element software ANSYS to analyse and calculus the opposite - pull upright retaining wall' stress and distortion model and combine practice engineering data material to verify the finite element analysis. To studying regularities of distribution of the walling level lateral shift,road embankment subsidence,subgrade reaction,foundation stress and soil pressure of back of wall,the studying show: 1,The finite element computation result and engineering real data result possess very consistency; 2,The reinforcement can give full play to his tensile property when the lateral shift of soil mass is large, thereby limit the lateral deformation of soil mass and the upheaval of the road embankment outboard foundation; 3,The existence of opposite-pull reinforcement is very importment to wane the differential settlement of road embankment and enhance the global stability of road embankment; 4,The transformation of internal friction available intensity indices,especially the transformation of embankment angle for the influence horizontal shift and level compressive stress of branch block structure.
