Along with the rapid development in nanchang, the efforts on the work of trade and investment promotion are being intensified and a lot of industrial enterprises have settled east of the gangjiang river in nanchang. So the biggest electricity load in this area has reached 1120 megawatt in 2006 and it is anticipated to keep fast growth to reach 2340 megawatt. To meet the requirement of electricity for rapid economic development and improve the nanchang power grids reliability and ability to supply electricity for constructing the zhegan electrified railways, the 220kv xiangtang transmission line engineering is being built. This paper deals with the calculation for designing the 220kv transmission line ,and on this basis, this paper investigates this questions: the choice for ground electrode composite optical cable line in big short-circuit current region, the cooperation within the OPGW transmission line, the lead and other circuit ground electrode, the improvement for earth resistance in region where a lot of thunders take place, the increasement of line surge arrester at crossing place, the lectoype for insulator.……...
