The paper analyze the strength of the practical work ship, at the same time I study more about CATIA and expediently establish ship model with Excel ,then using software compatibility transmits Hydromax which calculates the total longitudinal strength, synchronously we will know whether the ship meets the criterion,what we have do will guarantee safety of the ship and avoid oil tank wreckage in sea which lead to the personnel loss. Therefore in order to guarantee strength of the oil tanker according with safe need, studying on ship has important practical meaning.The paper studies Established model of some oil tanker and strength analysis . Because the transversal bulkhead does not accord with the normative require, we research the reason why transversal bulkhead does not satisfy the criterion.2.We know the ship does not reach strength require by theory and ansys calculation, through calculation about the yunzi ship which is operating in practice,then put forward the resolved method.3.I edit programme with VBA and cite storage of CATIA, by studying more about CATIA and convenience of operating Excel, so I expediently establish ship model.4. By ship model which is established in CATIA, we transmits it to Hydromax we disposer space and load weight according to weight calculation,disposer drawing, therefore I calculate the total longitudinal bendingmoment and check up the strength of ship component, after calculating the modulus of section.
