Grounding system has very crucial meaning to the security of operating equipments in power system and the safety of person. The rapid development of computer and industrial technologies in recent years promotes the further progress of grounding technologies, which is becoming more and more widely applied in petroleum industry and environmental protection, etc. Oil tank anti-corrosion grounding system is just one of the commonest applications. Currently, anti-corrosion grounding technologies have become a branch of the grounding technology which cannot be neglected. The simulated point current method is used to calculate the grounding resistance in the thesis. Actually, this method can be applied to calculate the complex grounding system with asymmetric, double-polarity and multi-grounding objects features and meets the practical applications needs of general grounding project. The thesis, takes perpendicular grounding resistance as the study object, discusses the influence of calculating result by the simulated point current method, by comparing and analyzing with the method of line current model. With the examples of an oilcan anti-corrosion grounding system set, the thesis emphasizes a method, which bases on the finite element theory, using image method and simulated point current method, calculating the grounding resistance and electric field generated by the soil between the anode and the oilcan. The method presented to substitute the common anti-corrosion model which takes results from the grounding resistance generated only by the anode. The method, called Disk Electrode Detach Method, makes the electrode detaching more reasonable, enhances the efficiency and precision of calculation. At the same time, the thesis discusses the arithmetic in the progress of oilcan anti-corrosion grounding calculation, presents using iteration method to substitute Cramer's Rule. Iteration method can save system resource while dealing with the giant linear equation in the calculation. The thesis also discusses the difference between the normal iteration and Gauss-Seidel iteration, we may choose one according to the demand of the project precision. At the end of the thesis, a oilcan anti-corrosion design blue print is given out, which can be consulted and validated in the practical project.
