Nowdays combination of the Hybrid Electronic Vehicle (HEV) and electronic-control diesel engine are considered as one of the most advanced technologies in the automobile industry. This technology has a significant meaning faced with the world's energy and environmental problems. After carefully study of various typical hybrid electronic technologies, the parrelal hybrid elctric powertrain system is proposed, which has advantages such as simple structure, high reliability, etc.In this paper, characters of the hybrid electronic powertrain system and its components are analyzed carefully. The HEV's power requirements are calculated out according to the theory of automobile dynamics in several typical drive cycles.The HEV's simulation model is also established using the backward simulation tool, ADVISOR. Parameters of the powertrain system are chosn carefully analyzation of the results.The control strategy has significant influence to the HEV's performance. In this paper, the HEV's mainly drive mode is analyzed, the mainly control strategy is established and the control strategies of the NIMH batteray, the engine, and the ISG motor are also introduced.The HEV's bench test and road test are also analyzed in the last part of this paper. Test results show that the structure and parameters of the Parralel ISG hybrid electronic powertrain system are designed scientifically, and the HEV performs well.
