Wind energy is highly regarded by various countries'government as a kind of green energy. .Wind power generation is an effective way to use wind energy. With people's growing demand for the energy, and gradually disappearing of the conventional and common energy, add the growing problem of the environment pollution, the wind power generation is getting a fast develop, which is becoming a hot spot for technical circles and enterprise, because it's beneficial to energy developing and environment improving.Wind power generation is in fast progress. Its stand-alone capacity has developed more than 1 megawatts per unit, and category of controls from stall type to pitch regulation type up to the variable speed type. For the sake of improving the efficiency of energy and increasing mechanic life, all kinds of research for wind turbines is widely develop in the world, many kinds of control arithmetic and strategy have been advanced. Mass of them focused on blades control, power generation control, merging control and yaw system. In order to improve the efficiency of using wind energy and generating, and realize intelligent control of the large scale of wind turbines, this paper did related research and design.This paper mainly studied the variable pitch adjustable speed wind turbine control system, which is the novel wind power generation system. At first analysed the blades'pneumatic performance qualitative. According the theory of maximum power point tracking, established the control strategy of whole working process under different wind speed。With the instability, randomicity and nonlinear etc. of wind energy under many uncertain factors, this paper combine the theory of fuzzy control and PID control, propose a fuzzy-PID control method, based on introduction the basic principle of fuzzy and PID control, and the controller's design and classification. The controller would control pitch angle at above rated wind speed area to keep the turbine's power output in the maximum and with the least change.This paper established each part of wind turbine's sub-model, including wind speed ,wind rotor, drive system, generator, then the entire unit's model is realized in the Simulink environment of the MATLAB software. According to doing the MATLAB emulation about the pitch control of whole wind system, to master the states change when wind turbine does pitch control. From the result of the emulation, it has advantage of acclimatizing itself to the object. And it presents that for the use of fuzzy-PID controller , the variable pitch control system designed could fully meet the control requirement during the period of power adjusted. It could reduce the change of wind speed's influence to be far from the stated 10%. At the same time, the influence to the wind turbine's power output with the least change of pitch angle, so the power output curve is more stable.Finally, for the incertitude of the wind's pneumatic performance qualitative, this paper designed the yaw controller using fuzzy control theory. According to the emulation, it suggests that the system satisfied the real working condition, and get good result by Matlab simulation, wholly has a good performance. The paper also designed the software and hardware part of the single chip microcomputer for yaw system to drive the yaw motor. So at last the staged control method has improved the efficiency of using and tracing wind energy, so that increasing the generation efficiency and maintaining the optimization working condition.
