In the specified place with serried water system , prestressed concrete tied arch bridge is one of the main bridge types. The diseases of bridge and reinforcement methods of this bridge are dominated by the structural behavior. The present thesis is the result of the efforts devoted to developing the synthetical method for the reinforcement of tied arch bridges of Huzhou, Zhejiang.Generally, most diseases of tied arch bridges are cracked members, strength reduction of concrete, increasing of structural displacement, damaged deck pavement and expansion joint ,etc. The main causes are generally lower design load standard, smaller dimension of structural member, reduction of constructing quality and structural endurance ,etc.Based on the mechanics characteristic of tied arch bridge, the synthetical reinforcement methods for the this type are achieved. This methods, including "synthetical method of chord strengthening" for tied arch bridge with diagonal web member and "structural system conversion method to supplement diagonal web member" for tied arch bridge without diagonal web member, can mainly be used to renew and fortify the whole stiffness, dynamic capability, and bearing capacity.A calculation example and an actual project—the reinforcement project of Tang-kou bridge of Huzhou—are separately used to verify the effect of these methods. |
