As time goes by and economy develops, more and more bridges cannot meet the demand of traffic. One of the most important methods to resolve this problem is bridge reinforcement and repairing, therefore, it becomes a hot issue in engineering. By studying on some regular reinforcement methods of road beam bridge, for instance, bridge deck pavement thickening, rib-beam augment, steel plate adhering, fiber material adhering, external prestressing method, structural system changing and etc., this paper, separately, introduces the reinforcement theories and characteristics of every method.This article conducts the deep research to vitro pre-stressed reinforcement law. This article in analytical study domestic and foreign experimental study material, design standard as well as in related literature foundation, has studied in vitro pre-stressed reinforcement bridge structure systematically, and unifies the pre-stressed reinforcement system's mechanics characteristic to compile has been possible to simulate the multi-operating mode analysis, as well as in vitro pre-stressed computation's trussing finite element procedure STRANS, the union actual project discusses in vitro pre-stressed reinforcement method general layout content and the design procedure. Has the following research work specifically:(1) elaborated the domestic and foreign bridge present situation, had expounded carries on the bridge reinforcement aspect research work's necessity and the pressing.(2) this article made the careful analysis to the bridge reinforcement mechanism, the utilization materials mechanics basic principle analysis beam bridge reinforcement principle, the discussion has suited the road beam plate bridge reinforcement method, has carried on the analysis to each reinforcement method reinforcement design method, and aimed at this article to introduce in vitro pre-stressed bridge structure in detail.(3) aims at the prestressed concrete continual structure and the stress characteristic, as well as present general finite element procedure's some deficiencies, established in view of have been possible quite convenient and precise analysis pre-stressed strength concretes continuous bridge's plane trussing finite element procedure STRANS, and detailed introduction software's establishment principle and process.(4) union actual project, uses STRANS to carry on the design calculation for in vitro pre-stressed reinforcement bridge, has confirmed the procedure accuracy, and has provided the reference for the actual project's implementation.
