With the rapid development of the bridge technology, new kind of structural forms of bridge have been produced. Extradosed Cable-stayed Bridge is a kind of new combination type bridge between the cable-stayed and continuous beam (rigid frame). Nearly 10 years, it has been widely applied at home and abroad because of the excellences of beautiful sculpt, harmonious landscape, construction convenience etc.Firstly, the paper introduces the method of the construction control and the simulating analysis of the extradosed cable-stayed bridge, and expatiates amply the content of the construction control.Secondly, through establishing the plane-FEM, the paper checks the enduring force of the main beam under the rational cable force, and then according to the construction characteristics it takes the construction emulating analysis to this bridge. In the construction emulating analysis, the computation put emphasis on the tension cable force in the construction, the elevation of the main beam. Then, the paper introduces the calculating method of tension control of the first strand stayed-cable, which making the tensions in the strand stayed-cable keep uniformity.According to the extradosed cable-stayed bridge of the North canal, the paper takes the control principles and methods for the Northcanal bridge, that is control the stress of both the top and bottom sides of main beam, regarding the one time stretching as hauling the cable force method. In addition, comprehensive comments of the Northcanal bridge construction control implememt have been done. A detailed introduction to the method of the control and tension of the strand stayed-cable is given in the paper. The cable tension and linearity of the main beam were controlled successfully from the result of construction control, while the above-mentioned control principles and methods are applied to the North canal bridge.Finally, taking the Northcanal Bridge as an example, the paper analyzes the influence of cable force, the beam stress and elevation caused by some design parameter of the extradosed cable-stayed bridge. The main contents and manners of analyzing and identitying the parameters is discussed in the paper.
