As an efficient engineering measure of landslide treatment, anti-sliding piles are widely used in the reinforcement engineering of slopes. Limited equilibrium method and FEM are used to analyze the stability of slopes with anti-sliding piles. Many assumptions that the traditional theories adopted all avoided the overall analysis of the pile-soil interaction in the different degree. FEM overcomes most of shortcomings of limited equilibrium method. Now, the most popular method in FEM is SSRFEM(shear strength reduction finite element method), while the criterion of critical failure state is the key problem for the practical application. So , the essay put forward a new method , the slip surface stress FEM ,proposed by professor Shao Longtan. The safety factor defined as the ratio of the critical shear intensity during failure to real shear stress, has the same meaning with limited equilibrium method. Based on the finite element stress-strain analysis, this method can find out the most dangerous slip surface and the minimal safety factor. The essay uses this method to analyze the stability of slopes with anti-sliding piles , and the results are compared to the results using SSRFEM. It is shown that the slip surface stress FEM can be used in the slope with anti-sliding piles. The slip surface stress FEM is based on the stress distribution calculating by ABAQUS, so, the impact of Mohr-Coulomb and Drucker-Prager constitute models on safety factor are discussed by comparing the results of examples. The slip surface stress FEM is used to analyze the stability of slope with anti-sliding piles, and the result is compared to the result using shear strength reduction method. It is shows that the slip surface stress FEM can be used in the slope with anti-sliding piles. And discussing the potential slip surface of the slope with anti-sliding piles. Based on slip surface stress FEM, effect of slope stability regard to location of anti-sliding piles ,embedment depth of piles, piles diameter, piles constraint conditions, strength parameter and piles flexural rigidity are examined. The reference basis to simplified design of pile-stabilized slope is provided.
