In recent years, the highway, especially the speedway,is quite great development in our country. The traffic transportation appears over-loading,high-speed,great runoff modern transport trend, and that the bridge is the throat of roadway,so it has been put forward higher demand about structure performance and using quality of available carrying bridge and new bridge in highway tranport . Crack is one of the most important characteristics of reinforced concrete girders. From the details of crack expansion,we can learn about the reality of working state bridges. With the development of the crack, .its carrying capacity, wear and practicablitity will be reduced to differ extent. Therefore,it is of great important theoretics significance and practicality value for crack status of the concrete vs its influence of carrying capacity.Based on the study present, the paper is mainly focused on the theoretical basis and feasibility of the method of statics experimentation for structural damage detection. The relation of crack width and carrying capacity and the relation of crack height and carrying capacity will be got from the experimental results. And what the aim is to attain the function whose dependent variable is crack width and height and independent variable is carrying capacity. Then and the real state of structure can be known.According to the experimental results which are obtained by dilapidated static test on three model H beam and three model T beam from intact state to destroyed state, the experimental formula between the crack width, height and carrying capacity is founded by non-linear regression method. Further more, we can evaluate the structural capability of single reinforced concrete beam with the formula mentioned before. The research work has established the foundation of assessment on structural capacity of model bridges and it has provided theoretical and experimental bases for the development of the quick-inspecting method on bridges'ultimate carrying capacity.
