Prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge with its own unique advantages has beendeveloping rapidly in China, with the traffic gradually increased, the loads gradually increased,the carrying capacity of the existing bridge structure has been decreased to some extent, In orderto prevent unnecessarily bridge collapse, testing of the bridge structure is very important, forbridge test is bridge maintenance, repair and reinforcement of the preliminary work, is todetermine the maintenance and reinforcement is feasible and reliable basis for right and wrong, Itnot only can be used to evaluate the use of the existing bridge condition, but also can provide thebasis for the design and construction of new bridge construction, so as to promote thedevelopment of the theory of bridge design and innovation.Load test is the most important in detection of the bridge, the paper describes theimportance of the bridge load test and the common load test methods firstly, with the Project-Fufeng Changchun Bridge for the study, the general situation of the construction of the bridgeare introduced, including four test and two of the reinforcement results. Because of this project isto test after reinforcement, so describes reinforcement methods commonly used of the bridgereinforcement, by comparing the choice in vitro prestressed strengthening methods for thereinforcement design, and the reinforcement design purpose, main points and constructionprocess in detail.The paper focuses on the Fufeng Bridge static load test program and the assessment ofcarrying capacity. Using the bridge dedicated analysis and calculate software Midas Civil tobuild the Fufeng finite element model, to simulate and analysis of the existing bridge and thereinforcement bridge.Through normal use limit state checking,carrying capacity limit statechecking and the stiffness of the main beam checking, use of the stress cloud comparativeanalysis before and after to reached the bridge reinforced with sufficient safety reserves, get theFufeng Bridge’s carrying capacity is reliable.By the finite element simulation to get the Fufeng Bridge’s carrying capacity is satisfied.We will be on the real bridge load test to verify the carrying capacity of the bridge. Using of theaforementioned method of the static load test for the bridge load test.The most important is thecontrol section determined,the arrangement of the measuring point, the test conditions and testloads to determine and so on, through a series of work come to the bridge deflection and strainresults, Making the comparison under the measuring with the theoretical value, obtained thestructure of the calibration coefficients, of test data with the previous comparison, the structureof the calibration coefficients are dropped, a description of the Fufeng Bridge’s strength andstiffness has a significant improvement after reinforced, the carrying capacity to meet therequirements of the bridge and the strengthening works achieve the design goal.
