| The urban road of a city is an important part of its traffic system. And it is also important infrastructure for the development of the city economy and community as well as for the citizen's daily life. The construction of the urban road network must be well consistent with the development of the national economy and community. At different stage of the city development, there should be urban road network with rational density. Therefore, analysis and investigation of the rational density of the urban road network will be of great significance for the following aspects: adjusting the adaptability between traffic and economy; finding the problems during the urban road construction and development; establishing rational developing project for the urban road network; facilitating the harmonious development of traffic and economy; realizing the modernization and sustainable development of the traffic system.For the actual phase, this thesis used the investigative method which commixed theory and practice. Based on the comparison of some cities'density of the urban road network, ecumenical rules of road density of urban cities were expatiated. After the analysis of some mountainous cities of different scale, character of mountainous cities'traffic system was investigated. At present, the rational density of urban cities is prescribed by"code for transport planning on urban road"GB50220—95, which is the only standard in the country. Based on the analysis of the code's index, shortcoming of the prescriptive road index was expatiated. Difference between the code and the actual phase of mountainous cities has been pointed out, and the reasons of the difference have been analyzed too. Next, based on the comprehensive analysis of the influencing factors of the urban road network developing scale, the hierarchical structure model of the density of the urban road network was established using the model technology of system engineering. The four key factors (urban population, urban economic level, urban vehicle quantity, using structure of urban land) was investigated separately. The rational road network density of mountainous city has been investigated by analogy.Based on the comparative investigation of the rational road network density of the mountainous cities, standard road network density was put forward. Therefore, the compare with different urban road network was solved out. Combined with the investigation of Hongkong, and the standard density of the urban road network calculated by the code, the propositional standard road density for mountainous cities was put forward. It will be of great significance to the construction of the urban road network. |
